Salt has been used for Centuries to cleanse and purify items of all sorts. In more modern times, we generally use Sea Salt to cleanse crystals that have picked up unwanted vibrations. In recommend using a salt water bath for crystals that are able to take salt. Salt is really good for removing negative energies from most crystals. A salt bath does not work for all crystals and can actually damage more sensitive stones such as any calcite (any water soluble stone) Angelite, some forms of marble and pearls are quickly damaged by a salt bath. For those, you can use a smudge (see above) or put them in a window which receives sunlight or moonlight depending on the stones sensitivity to light.
You don't really need to soak your crystals very long in salt water. A minimum of 7 hours is usually all that is needed unless you have crystals that are extremely toxic for some reason. Get a plastic bowl large enough to hold your crystal's. Glass is fine but it is a hard surface and you could chip your crystals easily if not careful. Fill the bowl with water to cover the crystals by about 1 inch. Room temperature water is fine and it would be best to have spring water which is "alive" with nutrients that crystals like. For more refined energies, use distilled water. It doesn't matter to the crystal unless you go back and forth between extremes of very hot and very cold (even Pyrex has a maximum tolerance). Then, for each crystal, add 1 tablespoon of salt as a rough guideline. The "perfect" cleansing solution is a 30% solution of sea salt and spring water. If you have genuine sea water, use that! We usually just throw a handful of salt over the crystals and just leave the bucket in the sun to soak.

The talking stick was used in Native North American tribes at council meetings. It was used for courtesy and respect to not allow the interruption of a chief when he or she was speaking. The talking stick was then passed to the next council member who wished to speak. The stick was a ceremonial item and was often decorated with eagle feathers and crystals to show its significance. In more modern times, it serves more or less the same purpose often used in families, or gatherings of any size to encourage common courtesy and to cultivate respect for those speaking. Unless you have the talking stick, you cannot speak out and therefore must listen to what is being said. A great tool to have even today.

White Tail Deer Antler Side, Creedite Crystal and Feather wrapped in leather
This Prayer Horn is a full White Tailed Deer antler side with a small amount of hair near the bottom with a beautiful Creedite crystal mounted at the base of the antler, wrapped in natural brown leather and finished with a wooden bead and a Pheasant feather. The horn measures about 10 inches from base to tip and 4 inches tip to tip. The Creedite crystal is over 1 inch around and the feather is about 2 1/2 inches long. This Prayer Horn makes a great altar piece but can be used for ritual work if held in your hand gripping the leather area near the base of the antler.

The Deer Beam is about 3 1/2 inches long, the Aragonite Crystal is 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide and the Bear tooth is just over 1 1/4 inches long. This Prayer Horn feels great in your hand and makes a wonderful ritual tool, especially for rituals involving Bear Medicine.

I will be making new prayer horns over the next few month's after a long hiatus and getting them up as soon as they're done!
I've picked up some very special high
altitude collected crystals from the Himalayan Mountains in Tibet. (Dear
friends traveled to the area and purchased them for me.) These Crystals
were discovered by local Shepherds grazing their flocks on the high mountain
passes during the few summer months when the snow melts enough to expose the
ground; the Crystal formations found just sitting on top of the ground!
I've got to meditate on their specific powers and ask them which animals they
would like to work with.

The Mini Prayer Horn shown above is a White Tailed Deer antler tip with a museum quality piece of Moldavite. The antler tip is about 2 - 1/4 inches and the Moldavite is 1 - 1/8 inch for a total size of around 3 - 1/2 inches long.
Small enough to go any where with you but packs the strong punch of Moldavite paired with the gentleness, love and compassion of Deer.
Good grade A (or better) Moldavite stones appropriate for this
